Top 12 Baby Store Name Ideas From Real Founders

These names were generated on the LOGO.com name generator and chosen by real founders naming baby and kids stores, from baby shops and boutiques to kids clothing, crochet and preloved resale. Baby Bloom and Lumei Kids are the most picked names in these searches, and Baby Barn, CuddleCrew Clothing and Honeybee Apparel were also chosen more than once. Every other name was a single selection, so read the order as a shortlist of real picks grouped into three sets, not a popularity ranking.

What makes these 12 baby store name ideas work for businesses

All twelve were generated on LOGO.com and chosen by real founders. Here is what each one does well, and the pattern behind it that you can borrow for your own baby store.

Baby Bloom

Founders picked this from several different baby prompts, a store tagline, a baby clothing line and handmade baby designs, and it ties as the most picked name on this page. Baby appears in 291 logos created on LOGO.com this past year once babysitting and Babylon are set aside, and bloom turns that plain word into a picture of growing. Steal the recipe: lead with baby, then add one word for growing.

Baby Barn

This was picked from both a baby store prompt and a baby shop prompt. Baby shop came up in 34 name searches on LOGO.com this past year, more than the phrase baby store, and barn adds a roomy, well stocked, country feel. Steal the recipe: pair baby with a building that sounds big and friendly.

Lull & Lilac

A founder asking for a baby store name chose this. Lullaby turns up in only a handful of logos on LOGO.com, so a sleepy word like lull is still wide open, and lilac adds a soft color the whole shop can wear. Steal the recipe: join a calming sound to a gentle color with an ampersand.

Bundle & Bliss

Another baby store pick. Bundle appears in 52 logos made on LOGO.com this past year, the classic word for a newborn wrapped up tight, and bliss finishes the promise for tired, happy parents. Steal the recipe: pair a newborn word with the feeling you sell.

Lumei Kids

A founder planning a premium online kids clothing store chose this, and it ties with Baby Bloom as the most picked name here. Kids appears in about 640 logos on LOGO.com this past year, and a soft invented word in front of it makes the brand easy to own. Steal the recipe: coin a short, gentle word, then add kids.

CuddleCrew Clothing

Picked more than once for a kids wear brand, and a sister version, CuddleCrew Kids, was chosen too. Words built on cuddle appear in 31 logos on LOGO.com this past year, and crew makes the customers sound like a gang of friends. Steal the recipe: join a cozy word to a group word, then say what you sell.

Honeybee Apparel

A founder building a baby and kids wear brand chose this more than once. Kids wear came up in 27 name searches on LOGO.com this past year, and a honeybee hands the brand a mascot, a color palette and a print pattern in one word. Steal the recipe: pick one sweet creature, then add apparel.

Baa Baa Boutique

A founder selling hand knitted baby clothes picked this. Boutique paired with baby in 15 name searches on LOGO.com this past year, and the nursery rhyme sound says wool and lambs before anyone reads the tag. Steal the recipe: borrow a sound from a nursery rhyme, then add boutique.

Hushaby Crochet

This came from a maker of crochet Moses baskets and baby blankets. Words built on snuggle appear in only 17 logos made on LOGO.com this past year, and hushaby, an old lullaby word, carries the same softness with far less company. Steal the recipe: use an old lullaby word, then name your craft.

Little Heirloom

A founder planning a luxury online baby store for clothes, toys and accessories chose this. Luxury came up in just 11 baby name searches on LOGO.com this past year, and heirloom says premium in a warmer way, something a family keeps. Steal the recipe: pair a small word with something families pass down.

PureSprout Online

A founder opening an eco online baby store picked this. Organic appears in only 6 baby name searches on LOGO.com, so eco brands still have room to claim a clean nature word like sprout. Steal the recipe: pair a purity word with a growing word, then say where you sell.

Twinkle Tot Rewear

This came from a founder selling preloved baby clothes. Tots appears in 30 logos created on LOGO.com this past year, and rewear is a friendly, invented way to say worn again. Steal the recipe: pair a sparkly baby word with a word for wearing twice.

Look closely and a pattern jumps out: one soft picture, a bloom, a lamb, a bee or a sprout, plus one plain word for what you sell. Try that formula with your own shop in the baby store generator.

The Top 9 Words Founders Use In Baby Store Names

Clothing

Clothing words appear in 147 of the 816 baby name searches on LOGO.com this past year, more than any other word here. One search can use several of these nine words, so they overlap and read as a ranking, not as shares. Founders name what they sell first, and a clothing word tells parents what is on the rail.

Products

Products ranks second in baby name searches on LOGO.com, the word brands use when they sell bath, feeding or diaper goods rather than run a shop floor.

Store

Store shows up in 66 baby name searches on the LOGO.com generator. It is the word most people search for, so it works well in a tagline or a web address even if the name itself says shop.

Shop

Shop comes a whisker behind with 65 searches on LOGO.com, yet founders choose baby shop as their business industry far more often than baby store. It sounds smaller and friendlier, a good fit for a single storefront.

Online

Online ranks fifth in baby name searches on the LOGO.com platform. It suits a store that starts on a website or a social shop, though most names leave it out and let the domain do the work.

Kids

Kids pairs with baby in 44 searches on LOGO.com, from shops that plan to grow with their customers. It keeps the door open for bigger sizes later.

Toddler

Toddler appears alongside baby in 39 searches on LOGO.com, the next size up for most baby shops. A toddler word signals clothes for walking, climbing and puddles.

Toy

Toy turns up with baby in 33 searches on LOGO.com, because most baby shops stock a few. Keep it as a side line in the name, not the headline, if clothing is what you mainly sell.

Cute

Cute rounds out the nine with 24 baby searches on LOGO.com. It is how founders describe the feeling they want, so let the name show cute with a soft picture instead of saying it.

Don't get stuck with a forgettable baby store name

Your name ends up on the shop sign, the swing tags, the tissue paper, the gift receipts, the shipping labels, your website and your social handles. Make sure it passes these five tests.

  1. Easy to Say

Parents pass good baby shops along at playgroups, baby showers and the school gate. If a tired new parent can repeat it after hearing it once, it will travel.

  2. Easy to Remember

A new parent is running on very little sleep. One soft picture, a lamb, a sprout or a bundle, sticks far better than a list of everything you stock.

  3. Easy to Search

On LOGO.com, kids clothes and kids clothing together are chosen as a business industry about twice as often as baby clothing, so parents describe the same rail in different ways. Pick the words your customers really search for, skip cute misspellings, and make sure people can find you by typing the name exactly as it sounds.

  4. Easy to Own

Stay clear of famous baby brands, kids clothing labels and big retail chains. Check the domain, the social handles, your business registration and a trademark search before you order a single swing tag.

  5. Easy to Grow

Leave room for the store you will run in a few years. A name tied to newborns can feel tight once you add toddler sizes, kids clothing or maternity wear.

500+ Baby Store Name Ideas by Store Type

According to LOGO.com data, baby shop was chosen as a business industry 745 times by 645 people this past year, and kids clothes and kids clothing together another 1,274 times, the two biggest baby and kids retail choices on the platform. Baby clothing and maternity store follow, so the lists below are organized by store type, from baby shops and boutiques to maternity, newborn, toddler and preloved resale. Find your store type first, then borrow the patterns that fit.

Baby shop names

On LOGO.com, store or shop turned up in 15.8% of baby name searches this past year, and founders reach for shop far more often than store. Baby shop names should feel warm and easy to walk into, the kind of place a new parent remembers after one visit.

How to name a baby store, from the first onesie to the sign over the door

A baby store name has to work on a shop sign, a swing tag, a gift receipt and a tiny social avatar. Across the past year, founders picked 91,839 names on LOGO.com, and the core baby and kids retail labels, from baby shop and baby clothing to kids clothing and maternity store, were chosen 2,831 times as a business industry. Those choices, from baby shop owners, kids clothing sellers, knitters and resellers, point to a few clear lessons.

Start with what you sell, not the word baby

Founders on LOGO.com describe what they sell before the kind of store, clothing and products come up far more often than store or shop, and the strongest names follow the same order. Start with a short list only you can claim: what you sell, the ages you serve, the look of your shelves and the parents who shop with you. Build from that list and the name will still fit when you add toddler sizes or maternity wear. If you sell mostly your own label, clothing brand names go deeper, and a store selling gifts for every age belongs with gift shop names.

Three name styles founders keep picking

The names founders chose on LOGO.com fall into three families. Soft picture names build on one gentle image, like Baby Bloom, Lull & Lilac, Hushaby Crochet and PureSprout Online. Character names give the brand a mascot or a crowd, like Honeybee Apparel, Baa Baa Boutique, CuddleCrew Clothing and Twinkle Tot Rewear. Plain promise names say what you get, like Baby Barn, Bundle & Bliss, Little Heirloom and Lumei Kids. The name generator can serve all three. The style that struggles is the long list name that crams clothing, toys, gifts and gear into one line.

Test it on the sign, the swing tag and a phone

Say it out loud to a friend and check they repeat it correctly. Print it at swing tag size and on a gift sticker and check it still reads. Then look at it as a tiny profile picture on a phone, where most parents will meet it first, and search it to see who already owns the first results. If you plan to sell preloved clothes, thrift store names are worth a look, and makers who sell handmade pieces online can browse crochet business names or Etsy shop names.

Lock it down before the grand opening

When a name passes, lock it in. Grab the domain and the social handles, register the business name and run a trademark search. Keep famous baby brands and kids clothing labels out of your own name, because those names belong to someone else. Then turn it into a brand: design the mark with our logo maker, write a one line promise with the slogan generator, and if the shop grows into a wider company, find an umbrella name with the business name generator.

Methodology. Figures come from LOGO.com product data for the year to 28 September 2026, covering 391,368 name searches on the generator. Industry figures count how often a label was chosen as a business industry, using exact labels such as baby shop, baby clothing, kids clothing and maternity store. Because baby also sits inside babysitting, and the nursery label mostly means plant nurseries, those labels were measured separately and kept out of baby store figures, and childcare and toy store labels were left to other pages. Search figures come from the baby name searches on the generator with babysitting removed, and the Top 9 words count how many of those searches contain each word, so the words overlap and are shown as counts rather than shares. Word figures in names count how many business names created on LOGO.com contain each word, across all industries, with look alike words removed, such as babysitting from baby, which is also why tots is reported rather than tot, a string hidden inside total and cotton. Founder picks are the names chosen from baby and kids retail searches in the generator, which is a small pool, so the Top 12 is a shortlist rather than a league table. There was too little icon data for baby stores to report, so this page carries no icon figures. Source: LOGO.com first party product data, September 2026.

"LOGO.com is an amazing resource. It helped me create a professional-looking logo for my business that received more praise than logos I've paid designers to create for me in the past. The site is very easy to use, walks you through every step, and gives you control over the entire creation process."
