Komunitas Anak Bugis (KAB) is a community-driven education initiative dedicated to nurturing Bugis children through culturally rooted learning, bilingual literacy, and hands-on enrichment programs. Guided by the slogan “Taro ada taro gau,” KAB blends traditional values with modern pedagogies to build confidence, local identity, and 21st-century skills—partnering with families and schools to create scalable, practical learning opportunities that respect community rhythms and aspirations.

KAB values cultural pride, community partnership, and active learning: we center Bugis language and traditions as the foundation for curiosity-driven education, collaborate respectfully with parents and local educators to ensure programs are relevant and sustainable, and prioritize playful, experiential teaching that develops resilience and agency in each child. These principles guide our decisions—from curriculum design to outreach—so every initiative strengthens local identity while preparing children to thrive in broader educational and social contexts.
