Born in the heart of Tunisia’s rich 3,000-year-old civilization, SITEX has been a cornerstone of the country’s textile industry since 1977. Rooted in the Sahel region’s traditional know-how, SITEX began as a strategic partnership between SOGITEX and Swift Textiles, an American leader in denim production seeking a gateway to European markets. By 1977, SITEX had gained full autonomy, and in 1986, strengthened its ties with Swift Textiles through a more strategic partnership. Today, SITEX operates two advanced facilities: a spinning unit in Sousse (90,400 m²) and a specialized site in Ksar Hellal (170,000 m²) for dyeing, weaving, and finishing denim fabrics
