Junge Kirche

About

Junge Kirche is the vibrant youth ministry of Pfarre Steyr, offering welcoming spaces for young people to explore faith, build community, and take part in meaningful liturgy, social projects, and creative spiritual expression. Rooted in local parish life, Junge Kirche blends tradition with contemporary approaches—music, dialogue, and service—to make faith accessible, relevant, and life-changing for the next generation.

Brand values

At the heart of Junge Kirche lies a commitment to welcome, accompaniment, and active service: we create a safe, inclusive atmosphere where every young person is seen and heard; we walk alongside participants in their spiritual journeys with respect and openness; and we turn faith into action through outreach and community engagement. Our practice honors Catholic tradition while encouraging honest questions, creative worship, and shared responsibility, guiding every decision toward compassion, authenticity, and the flourishing of youth within Pfarre Steyr and beyond.
