Invasives Va

About

Invasives Va is a Virginia-focused environmental organization dedicated to identifying, managing, and preventing the spread of invasive species across terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. Combining on-the-ground removal, science-backed monitoring, and community education, we partner with landowners, municipalities, and volunteers to protect native biodiversity and strengthen ecosystem resilience. Our local expertise and collaborative approach translate into practical solutions that reduce long-term ecological and economic impacts.

Brand values

At our core, Invasives Va values stewardship, collaboration, and evidence-driven action: we care deeply for Virginia’s native landscapes and make decisions guided by the best available science. We prioritize transparency and community empowerment, working hand-in-hand with neighbors, conservation partners, and policymakers to create durable, place-based solutions. Every project balances urgency with respect for local cultures and habitats, ensuring our interventions are effective, ethical, and rooted in a long-term commitment to ecosystem health.
