Friends of the Library

About

Friends of the Library of Perry County is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting the county’s public library through fundraising, advocacy, and community programming. By organizing book sales, grant-backed projects, and outreach initiatives, we expand access to literacy resources, enrich local educational offerings, and ensure the library remains a vibrant, welcoming hub for readers of all ages. Our grassroots efforts bridge community passion with library services to strengthen lifelong learning across Perry County.

Brand values

Rooted in a love of learning and community stewardship, Friends of the Library of Perry County values accessibility, inclusivity, and sustained support for public knowledge. We champion equitable access to books and digital resources, foster partnerships that amplify local voices, and operate with transparency and fiscal responsibility so every donation and volunteer hour directly benefits Perry County residents. Our decisions are guided by a belief that an informed, connected community is the foundation of a thriving public library.
