About

Blackstar Records is an artist-first independent record label that cultivates fearless sonic visionaries and turns raw creativity into culturally resonant music. Rooted in deep A&R intuition and hands-on development—from production and branding to strategic release and sync placement—we don’t just make music; we ARE music, shaping careers and soundscapes that cut through a crowded industry with authenticity and lasting impact.

Brand values

At Blackstar Records we champion artistic integrity, relentless innovation, and community-driven collaboration: we back artists who challenge norms and help them hone a distinct voice while providing the business rigor needed to thrive. We value transparency and long-term partnership over short-term gain, pursuing bold creative risks, equitable opportunities, and high standards of craft so every release reflects both the artist’s truth and the label’s commitment to cultural significance.
